For a calculation correction

Please note the calculator’s page address, the inputs you used, the displayed result, and the result you expected. For a state-rate question, also note the data month and the source table. Do not include your utility account number, address, or an unredacted bill.

Before reporting an issue

Check that watts have not been entered as kilowatts, and that cents have not been entered as dollars. For refrigerators, use annual kWh. For EV charging, choose whether your reading is from the battery or the wall.

Review calculation methods and source definitions. For a billing dispute or tariff question, contact your electricity provider using the details on your bill. HomeWattCheck cannot access utility accounts.
